Bachelor and Mastertheses

Once you have decided on a topic, you and your supervisor agree on a start and end date. For a Bachelor thesis, please contact Ms Bettina Choffat (bettina.choffat@inf.unibe.ch), she will send you a form. For a Master thesis, please fill in this form and send it to Ms. Choffat as well. She will check whether you fulfil all the preconditions and will return the signed form to you.

Masterthesis

Please follow the guidelines of the BeNeFri Master Programme. You will find all important information on the programme's website. If you are enrolled at the University of Bern, you will find all the information on completing your Master's degree here. Since HS2019, the Dean's Office of the Phil. nat. Faculty no longer requires a printed version of the Master's thesis. It is sufficient to submit the document electronically as a PDF file (andrea.perez@natdek.unibe.ch). You still have to submit the final and corrected version, that the cover page is formatted according to the guidelines and that the document includes the declaration of authorship.
